The core of Type-C cable is the CC configuration pin, which uses a 24 pin positive and negative blind insertion interface as the carrier to complete the full process automatic negotiation in milliseconds, and then implements the function through the corresponding channel:

Insertion recognition: The CC pin first recognizes forward and reverse insertion, wakes up the devices at both ends, and achieves directional blind insertion;

Bidirectional negotiation: Automatically match the master-slave roles, charging power, and transmission capacity of both ends, and determine the optimal solution supported by both parties;

Function execution: The corresponding functions are executed through dedicated channels - the power channel completes charging, data differential pair transfers files, the high-speed channel can be switched to video signals to achieve screen mirroring, and in OTG scenarios, the device is switched to host mode and external devices such as USB flash drives/keyboards and mice are connected.

Type-C cables support forward and backward blind insertion, with strong versatility, and can achieve four core uses in one stop. They can provide fast charging for devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and lightweight laptops. The compliant version supports up to 240W PD fast charging, and can also transfer photos, videos, documents, and other files bidirectionally between mobile phones, computers, and cameras. The high-speed version can achieve instant transfer of large files, and can directly connect to TVs, monitors, and projectors to achieve 4K/8K ultra clear audio and video synchronous projection. At the same time, they can switch to host mode through OTG protocol, and directly connect to external devices such as USB drives, keyboards, mice, and portable hard drives to meet the needs of mobile office, outdoor material copying, and other scenarios.
